Many organisations are involved in working sustainably, with green principles and pursing corporate social responsibility. This has been an important issue within Schuuring for many years. Working sustainably suits us perfectly. It’s in our DNA. Not because it’s imposed from outside, but from an intrinsic motivation.

Working sustainably means not just taking account of the economic performance (Profit) but also the wellbeing of humanity (People) and the environment (Planet). Working sustainably is about striking a balance between people, planet and profit. This balance will often lead to better results for both the company and society.
Working sustainably fits with our mission statement: Schuuring strives to make a positive contribution to the development of its employees, customers, suppliers and society. For this reason the decision has been made to develop initiatives under the banner of ‘Schuuring Sustainable’ which contribute to goals which include minimising the environmental impact of our work. In order to make our efforts and the reduction targets visible and measureable, we have chosen to be certified in accordance with the CO2 performance ladder.
